Today is saturday which mean it is okay to eat sweets! Yes, yes yes love it.
Anyways, Therefore, with me friend and I got too many kindereggs to share. That the thing, some things is impossible to leave it behind. In my case the kinderegg is something I love eating, the quality of the chocoalte is really bad but I can not help it. I love the sweetness.
So, I am guessing, in the evening we will watch a movie and eat kindereggs till we puke! 😀 So not Halloween party for me.
For some days ago a friend and I went to a Indian store near to Drottninggatan to buy things for our indian cooking. I bought a lot all of things beside one spice which I have almost nothing left. One of the major reasons why I went to the store to buy that spice and I totaly forgot it.
Anyway, so today I mad daal after weeks with non-veg!
While cooking the daal I managed to forget the time and the daal become too thick. However, too thick dall is not that big of a problem. I prefer too thick daal than a too thin and watery. Becasue I can always add some water when the daal is heating up.
For this daal I used all ready mad masala becuase the energy for mixing and adding all the requried spices take time and energy which I did not have.
The daal is mixed with coscos, becasue I want to finish coscos very soon. I am hoping i can sson do chapati because I miss it so much.
A very popular dinner place is KB at Smålandsgatan, next to Birger Jarlsgatan. I would say the dishes are more of Swedish type. Also, the veg dishes are very limited. Anyways, the place is nice to visit because the walls are painted and the rooms are a bit dark.
The food is good and heavy and a lot, so you won’t be hungry after a meal at KB.
Later today I am meeting a friend and we have made dinner plans and to play xbox. I do not know what to we are going to eat, so let see. Anyway, my friend and I have not met for months, therefore I am very excited to meet him. The best part is with guy friends they are so much more open to play xbox than my girl friends. Why is it like that?
But, what I truly need is the sun. I want to feel the heat on my face instead of the coldness.
This photo is from Red fort in Delhi. The only thing I can say, I really loved the places to see the art! While I needed to pay 150 rupees my Indian friend only needed to pay 10 or 20 rupees. The worst part was, at every historical places in Delhi there were so many local people. Too many which made it almost impossible to take a photo without them taking a photo too on me. What is the big deal of being fair in India?
Let us visit all the historical places
Enjoy the places and study the History
To sit in the sun and have a great time
The time has come
So, I have got 2 bags of Bhel from 2 different companies. The second photo is from a famous brand in Pune, while the first is something I got in Sweden. It will be intresting to try them and compare which one taste the best. Is it the Bhel from Pune or that one I got in Sweden.
Therefore, next time I am meeting my friend we are going to play xbox and eat Bhel. My friend is from Delhi and we both miss India time to time. Who is not a better person to try bhel than a pour foodie like me. Next week after our bhel testing moment you will get to know which brand is the best.
Anyways, now the time is much and I have not prepared myself for the night, somehow I feel more for staying up than go to bed. I hate this feeling.
Oops, on the first photo my cup of tea is visiable….
I have not liked the taste of green tea for a very long time period. For example Lipton green tea has a wired taste I can not really explain the taste beside Lipton is nothing for me. However, some friends of mine recomended me to buy green tea because it sould be healthy and relaxing effects on the body. They said Organix India Tulsi green tea is really good and tasty and I needed to try it. So Tulsi Green tea came home with me and after some weeks with the tea I can say I really love it. Everymorning and afternoon my mug is full with Tulsi green tea. Next time I am visiting India I am so going to buy it again the price was 200 rupees, which is okay price.
Today when I woked up I got a great news on my mail about 300 followers on my blog. For me this is big because when I started to write about my experiances in India I never thought I would keep on writing when I left India, but I did. On top of that, who was going to follow a student life in Stockholm?
Also, the updates have had some longer breaks such as during the summer or when I have not had time to write and most likely when there is nothing to write about. Anyways, somehow I got the habit to write and also, it feels good to do updates. I do not know why but doing updates feels right.
Therefore I would like you to thank you guys to follow me. This is big for me, and I am really thankful.
Not only people are follow me but also I have had this blog since August 2013, that is crazy. Where did the time go? The blog is over two years old!
Back to the 300 follwers, thank you so much for follow me. This made my day!
300 followers is a good reseaon to celebrate with a Frappe from Starbucks. 300, thank you all
I like this photo from 2011 from Goa to the beach house. Travling in Indian trains are not like Swedish trains at all. Specially when the Indians train have no AC.. The only wind is from the window and the air is too hot to feel pleasent. The temprature outdoor and in the train is the same, the dust from the air hits the face and all you want to do is to get out and wash the face and body and the clothes really good for the sweat and dust.
I should not even mention the bathrooms on the train… Go and have a look and you realized the Swedis trains bathrroms are not that bad (hahah).
The journey is a part of the whole holiday. A travel has always some story from the train or the plane. But one thing is for sure, I would never travel alone as a girl in Indian train. Never and specially if the journey is during the night too. I would be scared. I know that many people are good, but you never know… Bad luck and something might happen.
I have no problems to travel with the plane alone, it feels so much more safer than the train.
This photo was taken when we traveled in lowest class without AC, we could not handle the journey that great. We were melting away… If I remember right, we took the train from Goa to a beach house during Feburary. Too hot.
