After long time my friend and I had dinner at Shun Xin.
My friend took me to a almost wole in the wall resturant on Tulegatan 36 with really nice wok. The place had only more or less 5 tabels. At the same time kind of a big menu to compare to the size of the resturant. The menu had chicken, duke and beef.
My friend had beef and in my case was chicken with green curry. The dish was hot and not to hot, I could eat the dish without any problems. I do not really think I could eat wok everyday, but once in the blue moon is enough. Overall the dinner was nice.
Too laze to use a deep plate so a cup is perfectly fine.
Today as every other mornings, my breakfast contain of musli with soured milk and green tea. This green tea from India, is really nice. Normally I have huge problem with green tea. Anyways, you know the feeling of not knowing what to eat, and to have the same thing AGAIN feels a bit heavy but at the sametime, you do not know what is the option.
That was how I felt today, I thought musli or oat and it ended with musli (of course). Nowadays I add less than a teaspoon of honey with my musli, only becasue I like some sweetness and I am telling to myself honey has some good things for us human, the negative part is honey has a lot of energy.
Hm… The dinner was better than I though, or at least the gravy dishes.
The roti was too less thin and felt like the bread was homemade massproduction. Anyway, they had paneer, veg malai kofta, chicken and lamb on top of that chole. In my taste they had better dinner than I expected, at least I could feel the flavours. But, the cue to get the food was too long after sometime.

Eariler i would not manange to stay away from this amazing faty products. I would have been there and take at least one pices from every cheese and try and take one more round. However, I am feeling proud of mysel to skip the cheese and instead of eating more of salmon (which I do not eat that often).

Okay, I most say I love mongos, but who does not?
Anyway, today for lunch was mango. That is something I do not say every day. More or less, never beside when the season for mangos from Pakistan. This mangos from Span were really huge, bigger than the Pakistani.
Pure joy to eat this one.
OMG I have never seen anything like this size before! NEVER. The mango has the same size as my face, can you understand how big this lovely tasty mango is and the weight….
Anyway, I was really unsure how tasty mangos from Spain could be, like the mangos from Brazil taste really bad or more right sad. But, this mango tasted so good! Really nice. The sweet and juicy (not easy to eat mango and skype at the same time). The mango was amazing and a bit hard to eat all up, but nothing is impossible. It took sometime, but I managed.
I got 2 left and they are not the as big as this one (thank GOD).
The brunch was at Villa källhagen, a walking distans from Östermalm near to many museums for a all ages. I had never been to Villa Källhagen before, but passed it many times while walking around Djurgården. Also, for them who does not want to take the car or walk, there are many busses passing by.
The brunch had perfect amount of food compare with Christams buffes which have way too many dishes. This brunch had cold dishes salmon, meat and salads. The salad with pumpkin tasted really great!
While the warm dishws looked really sad, I did not even try the dishes. The desserts were in limited amount, and I know my family loved 2 things from the desserts.
What I really liked was, due to the limited amount of food, there was no risk of over eating, which I normally facing with buffers with many different sort of food. This time, I ate enough and really loved the cold dishes. They had smoked shrimps!!
The pink sweet was a great hit at my table.
Before I went to the gym I made my very first sweet potato soup. Before I started with the cooking, I did some research on recipes becasue I have never done sweet potato soup. However, in the end there was no recipe whcih I followed.
The base is with Indian spices such as tumeric powder, chilli, cumin and some more. I got this amazing taste from teh spices and something extra most likelt from the sweet potato. On top of that the soup had some food yogurt.
To get some extra food, chicken was fried while I heated the soup up. One thing fore sure, I would love to make sweet potato soup again.
So, sad little plate. I got this one at NK and expected more for the money. Do you think I was full after the food? No, not at all. Dor me some shrimps and salad are not enough, there has to be more. Anyways, the company was much better.
Soon of to the gym and do some workout. I have to get the tension away. May be cardio for 50 minutes… Let see.
Today is an other day for pure veg food. Somehow what I really like with veg food is it feels fresh and not too heavy for the stomach. But on the other side, meat taste so much better sometimes. I have used my own cooked kidney beans.
The thing with home made cooked beans are much cheaper than the beans from the food stores. Also, I now that the beans have only been in water and nothing else.
I love this thing to have a lot of already prepared food so I can only heat it up and add some fresh vegatables too. Well, now I have to get ready and meet up my mom.
