what a day

My breakfast is as boring as my plans for today. My breakfast was with oat and apple pieces. My day, is full with laundry hours from 7:20 to 12 am. Then I had in mind to have a fast visit at the gym. But, that might not be possible. The reason is very simple, my knee is hurting at everything step I am taking. So, most likely my knee has to rest. For example during the bodypump I used the same weight for my legs and arms, 3 kg. How depression isn’t?

Banana pancake

I decided to try to make banana pancake for the first time. The recipes I had a look on, had vanilla sugar in the mixture. The mixture is already sweet due to the banana and to add vanilla sugar make the mixture even sweeter. Therefore I decided to skip he vanilla sugar.
So in the end my mixture was made of

  • 1 banana
  • 2 eggs

To add extra and freshness I had banana and apple on the side. Also, the problem is the pancake was a bit greyish, however, the pancake did taste good.


Where has the day passed by?

It feels like I have not done anything during the whole day, But I have.

I have done the laundry, clean my apartment, bought some food items such as milk and bananas. Also, I have started to study for upcoming tests. Well, the tests are not at all fun because I make always some sort of mistake. Either I forget a number, miss to write a good statement. So, as you can understand, I do not like this subjects.
Also, I have the feeling I have ants in my legs and I feel for a long walk in the city. But, I have to study some more and also at 5 pm, I am going for a work out! To the gym, excited. I am going to sweat and feel dead afterwards, that is at least my hope for the workout.


Sorry for the boring picture. But, I do not know what to upload, more photos on my studies? There for you got a picture on my breakfast bowl, oat, banana and soured milk! High five, it is the best breakfast dish I know to have at home.

I hope you all had a good night sleep, because I had a great one.
However, yesterday was Sunday and I had a perfect Sunday. I slept at my parents house and had company with my dad over breakfast (that is not the case today, right now i am having my breakfast alone).

Then I baked all the day, beside some hours of studies. I baked allot and left some at my parents house, also my grandparents got a peace of the bread, buns, saffron buns and scones. The thing is, I do not feel to eat the buns I just love baking. Also my grandparents do not bake anymore so it is a good thing to give homemade things. It is a luxury for everyone nowadays because we buy bread, buns, cookies half branded food from the food store. But, that sort of food from the food stores are not in same level, quality as homemade food.

On the photo is one sort of scones I made with two different type of flour, wheat and rye. Also, I added some grated carrots to get some extra texture and taste.

Yesterday afternoon/evening i got time to bake my favorite bread. Some reason this bread are one of my favorites are: it is heavy not light fluffy French toast bread, easy to make and tasty!
Also to have homemade bread for breakfast is a luxury. Nothing, absolutely nothing taste better then home baked bread or buns.
Nowadays, when I am making the bread I am following a recipe but starting to change some of the ingredients. For example minimizing the amount of wheat flour and adding more of rye flour and some spices and syrup.
Yes, have a slice of this heavy bread with cheese and cucumber and a cup of chai (tea).

  • 300g optional mixed nuts and seeds , such as sunflower seeds , pumpkin seeds, hazelnut, pecan nuts
  •     300g dried fruits such as apricots , prunes , raisins
  •     1.5 tsp salt
  •     2 cups rye flour
  •     4 cups flour
  •     5 cups sour milk
  •     1 teaspoon baking soda
  •     1 cup dark syrup
 Do this: Chop the nuts coarsely and shred fruits . Mix the nuts with salt, rye and wheat flour. Mix buttermilk and baking soda and stir into the dry ingredients with the syrup and fruit. Stir together until smooth . Pour the batter into a loaf shape, 1.5-2 liters , with greaseproof paper in . Bake the bread in the bottom of the oven for 2 hours. Cover any bread at the end if it gets too dark . Take the bread out of the mold and let cool towel.

Well, in my kitchen I got limited of products.That is breakfasts food.
My days’ plans are college till 3 pm and from 4-10 pm work and hopefully be able to buy some milk and some breakfast products.
Tomorrow is all about studies and studies. Meet my parents and studies.

Because I have slept like a baby. From 10 pm och 6:30 am, without waking up. There for I can promise you that was really tired yesterday.
However, today is my exam day in organization and in the morning is laundry time. Before the exam, I have to visit the second hand book store to buy my litterateurs for the course in writing research paper. Wish me all the best.
