I know, I know I have written a lot about the dress. But, the thing is I love the dress so much!
Everyone should see how talent my friend is. The dress is amazing and even more than amzing. I can not really understand she is younger to me but still created this master dress. All the sparkels are hand shewn (the photo jpg remove half the sparkels).
The dress has perfect length for me to wear high heels. May be the greatest part is, the heels do not need to be super high.
With the dress I had Las Vega nail polish, bangels from India (white and darkred, possible to see them on my right arm) and ear rings from India too. The heels are also from India from catwalk (I love the store, they have amazings heels!)
My question is when is the next time to use the dress?…
Some things are just there and whenever I do not wear rings I feel so naked. I can skip ear rings without any problems, but my rings are a big no no, I can not miss them.
During a normal day, I have to wear two rings, if I do not and miss. I get worried that I might have lost the ring/rings, which have happened eariler. Anyways, there are some rings which are for everyday use. Some are in gold and other in silver. Right, now i am in silver mood and only wearing silver rings.
Anyways, this ring is 5-6 years old and bought it in India. I do not now if it was in the south or in the north. One thing is for sure, I did not buy the ring in Pune. Too costly place for tourist things.
For some days ago my mom gifted me this one. I do not know the name of the thing. However, wmoen wear this one with the saree often during functions. As we all know, my mom does not wear saree but got it becasue it is beauy for the eyes and may be possible to wear in Sweden.
Anyway, I got this one and I thought, why not wear this thing with suit pants and a black top?. Would that not look good? skip the necklace and only use this and some simple golden ear rings?
In earlier posts have been about my family in India and about my sisters wedding (which I can not attend due to fianl exams). But, she did send some photos from a ritual which they have before the offical preparations for the wedding could start.
My question is why this ritual what is the history behind it, what do they do during the ritual? The only thing I could figure out was the people at the ritual were women from the family. Also, everyone were really beautiful in the sarees. Still what do they do at the ritual? I do know and can even understand from the photos…
Does anyone know? I am so lost!
So, what is my plan for this week is a good wuestion and I do not relly have a gerat answer beside, studies (as always). But I have to apply for some colleges now…
The thing is, time is moving on so fast that I do not even can understand within 2 months I am in India. INDIA after all this waiting and wating. At the same time the last 2 months are going to be the longest months. After all the waiting, I am hoping the trip is worth the price. Till than the best thing to do is to remember college and work.
I reqested some of my friends to send photos from India with the Diwali festival and all I can say is I miss this too much. I really miss being in India with my families. This festival is the best festival in India. With the fireworks, pooja, food and families and friends.
I have no words beside, I wish to be there and get afried of all the fireworks and wondring if India is in war or not.
Wishing everyone a great Diwali celebrating with families and friends. Also, with lights for a better future.
Once again a very happy and prosperous Diwali. Lets celebrate with a environmental friendly point of view.
PS. I miss my families and friends in India. Lot of love to my special friends and families,
The time for the dress to arrive has taking so long time. Hopefully the dress is worth the waiting. DHL had written the dress was going to arrive last Monday, but when the evening had pass there was no dress. Today DHL had removed the date of arriving. Thankfully I spoke with a lady at DHL and she told me the dress is arriving tomorrow! The first thing I will do is to try the dress, I am keeping my fingers crossed that the dress is fitting me. My dress is the right dress, longer than the original one. But I have great feeling that the right dress will be better than anything else!
If the dress is fitting me perfect I am going to wear it during the Diwali festival which Indian culture center arranging.
Noramlly when i attend college I am carrying my stuff in a backpack. I know that is the best solution for the back but it is so ugly. Really ugly. Therefore, when ever I only need to carry a notebook and some fruits to college for a serminarium I try to use an other bag. During my first year in India, I got this bag from Rajestand, if I remember right from the Golden city. The leather is made by camel and supose to be really strong, so far the bag has last.
Also, in my opinion this bag is a bit of hipster why. What I am missing today I is a shirt with squares in red and blue colors. Anyways, today is a good day, becasue I ahve only one seminarium and reast of the day self studies.
Last Christmas I had an amzing holiday with my friends and families in India. I ate waaay too much of street food such as Bhel and pani puri (I can not get enough of it). So, last evening with on of my families baba took to a streeet food restaurant. My sister and brother ate so many plates as we could and even more. We had a great time, and guess what baba found?
He found bhel package to carry the bhel home. So, he bought it and gifted the bhel to me.
I have had the bhel in the package for every since last christmas, but now the package is open. And even if the flavour is not the same as the bhel in Pune. But it is so good to have bhel again! I loved it and was very happy to eat bhel with a friend. Anyway, the thing is bhel taste the best in India, on the street and see bhai preparing the dish extramly fast. while waiting on the snacks you chat with friends, see the traffic passing by. While having it home the whole environment is missing…
I am really sorry for all the food updates today, but what to do….
