Aloo paratha is sometimes too good and yummy. A heavy breakfast food.
I know I m going to miss it when I am back in Sweden. Also, I do have no idea how to make it or if it is possible to get it in Sweden.
Aloo paratha with curd, allot of curd should it be with. After one aloo paratha, the stomach is full for a very long time.
My friend said a cold aloo paratha is the best one. The sades part is I have not tried that yet, I won´t be able to try it before I leave India too….
If you ever want to eat wada pav in Pune, then you have to go to one place. This place is famous for it. It was a small street food place and become huge.
Seriously this place sell many, many and again many wada pav every day.
As you can see, it is a popular place.
Some people says the man sell over 1000 and 1000 wada pavs. It says the police are collecting the plate from the street to count how much tax the seller need to pay. Because he is selling food black, like every street food seller.
How much is truth, is something I do not know.
I did try the wada pav there, but I could not say it was the best one. I do not like all this oily, white bread and potato food. It is just carbohydrates and unhealthy.
However, this place is in Camp, on a smaller street near to SGS mall.
Heavy fried food and also hot, burning hot. Not because the food came directly from the pan, the reason was the chili.
My friend and I had this plate in Chandni Chowk in one of the tiny path. We had paratha, potato and something else. The banana was the only sweet.
The food was good and yummy. This sort of food is okay to eat during holiday and now I have to eat mess food.
India they have high inflation very high, 7,75 % which create the prices increases faster then the wage.
This effect all households in India. The prices on just onions have increase and onion is a most in Indian cooking.
The milk price will increase next months from 44 rupees to 46, the Auto price ha increase with 6 rupees. The tomato price was in September between 20-30 rupees kg, while now the price has increased to 45-55 rupees kg. The same increase speed on onion, potato and etc.
What I am thinking is families need to put more and more money on food and what about the household which are living now on the poverty line. Probably more people will face big problem to got healthy and variation of food.
The increase of price is a very dangerous for a country, because how knows what will the price be in some months.
Where and when will this end?
Some of the information I got is from The times of India.
So beside chapatti and some vegetables my host sister made bhaji. It is fried vegetables, typical snacks and it is possible to find it on the streets.
The bhaji had fried onion, spinets and potato. It taste really good, but not that healthy.
Today we will make more sweets.
preparation from Diwali, is just like Christmas for me.
What can I say? Homemade food is so much better then the mess food.
It was aloo (potato) 2 vegetables (bhadji) salad, rice and something fried.
A lot of food and many people in the house during last weekends function.
