The brunch was at Villa källhagen, a walking distans from Östermalm near to many museums for a all ages. I had never been to Villa Källhagen before, but passed it many times while walking around Djurgården. Also, for them who does not want to take the car or walk, there are many busses passing by.
The brunch had perfect amount of food compare with Christams buffes which have way too many dishes. This brunch had cold dishes salmon, meat and salads. The salad with pumpkin tasted really great!
While the warm dishws looked really sad, I did not even try the dishes. The desserts were in limited amount, and I know my family loved 2 things from the desserts.
What I really liked was, due to the limited amount of food, there was no risk of over eating, which I normally facing with buffers with many different sort of food. This time, I ate enough and really loved the cold dishes. They had smoked shrimps!!
The pink sweet was a great hit at my table.
Today is saturday which mean it is okay to eat sweets! Yes, yes yes love it.
Anyways, Therefore, with me friend and I got too many kindereggs to share. That the thing, some things is impossible to leave it behind. In my case the kinderegg is something I love eating, the quality of the chocoalte is really bad but I can not help it. I love the sweetness.
So, I am guessing, in the evening we will watch a movie and eat kindereggs till we puke! 😀 So not Halloween party for me.
Princes cakes are really good and can look high class, in my opinion. The cake can be perfect to a birthday part, or with a cup of coffe but also for a wedding reception.
However, being one of the pople preparing 15 cakes for a wedding is a challange. All cakes have to look the same, one cake can not have more cream than the other. Every cake has to look the same. During the cake making process, we were 4 people and still the baking time took a long time. In the end we were tired and irritated on each other, but we managed to creat 15 cakes for one wedding. If I get the oppertunity to do it again, I would not miss it. Think like this, be able to help someone for the big day is something special.
At the wedding reception, the cake looked amazing and also tasted really good! I thought I was not going to eat the cake due to baking prcoess. But I did!
This is the result from our baking, sure the cake was not standing up, but it is impossible to see this cake was homemade. The decoration was perfect to the cake.
Everytime I am at my parents house they ahve some new sweets on the table. The sweets can be all sort, cookies, candies. On top of that, the sweets are not always things which we can get in Sweden. For example, this sweet from Shanghai was very wired, the taste was a bit of rice but at the same time not. THe texture was soft and sticky somehow. As you can hear that sort of sweet was not my cup of tea. However, I love, just love when they have chocolate from well known chocoalte countries hahaha.
Well, time to keep on study (listen on this book about government and law, good to know and that is it)

One of the gifts I got from the lovely contry Canada was home made honey. Yes, home made honey. How often do you get homemade honey? I would say almost never! This was the first time I got honey, and may be the last time too.
I have not tried the honey yet, because when the honey is open it stop being liqued. Also, I do not have honey in my tea either. So, when shall I use this really fancy honey from Canada?
Till the time I do not know what to do with the honey, the can will be close and stand in the kitchen.
For the first time I had Taiwanese sweet. I would explain the sweet with fatty, sweet and really tasty. If I understood it right, the sweet is made with pineapple, but the sad part is I don’t know the name of the sweet. However, the sweet is home made by the aunt in the family. Also, the aunt is making them and selling this sweets here in Sweden!
May be I should try to find where I can buy the sweets.
So my friend to with her a dessert which she made at home. We do not really know where it is from, but who cares when the dessert taste amazing.
I asked what she had added in the class, it was with whip cream, Turkish yogurt, berries (strawberries), mango and on top small chocolate chips. Then it was on layers, one layer with something white and then colorful and then white and so on.
When I saw the glass first I thought I can not finish the whole glass, but I did. The reason was very simple, it was amazing. But what is the name on the dessert? I do not know.
With the dessert we drank coffee from South America and talked a lot, I mean a lot. She is such a sweetheart and I am going to miss her too. Why is everyone leaving Sweden? I do not like it at all….
