The evening with ICCS with a lot of people and preforamcnes.
So, when we arrived we got this great welcome with photograph, food and drinks.
After the welcome there was bit of waiting but we met some people I already knew. The food was not too bad and the preformacnes were aesome!
The groups needed to preform on a small stage but did a great work.
Overall, the Diwali fest was great. I loved it.
Today is the 21 of November and my friend but also parents are going to a Diwali function! Yes Diwali for second time this year. I am really excited because the dress I am going to wear is amazing!
All the other Harry potter books have been read many times before, but never the final book. But, now it is the time to read the final book.
So many have read all the books and loved them. Myself is one of them who love Harry Potter books to read about about a fantasy world. Somehow I ahve never manage to read the last book, even though the book has been with me for years. Also, to be one of the people to say I like the Harry Potter books but never opened the last book, the reactions are: HOW CAN YOU?! THE LAST BOOK IS THE BEST ONE.
Well, the last book might be the best one, earlier I did not feel to read the book due to all the pages and the less common words. But, now, now is the time for me to read this book and hopefully finish it too! If, I do not find any better book to read….
When ever I get the time and energy to travel to my parents house, I do that. So, today I am here at my parents house and studying.
I do not know when they ae coming home or if I ahve to cook the dinner. One of the reason I am here is because I do not want to cook one more meal or at least one more meal for only me. Anyone who is living alone, knows the feeling of: Oh no, dinner time again and I do not even feel for cooking proper meal for myself and eat alone… Sight…
Anyways, I have this luxury to drink coffee from South America which taste much much better than the coffee from Gevalia, Löfbergs Lila.
Anyways, my feet are feeling could, and the darkness have already arrived so that means, time to light some candls.
Voluspa makes the best candles with senses. Normal candles with some sense can smell good before they are lighted and without any sense. While, Voluspa candles create this strong sense and lasting for long time. On top of that, the candles are in cute metal boxes! 🙂
Second bottle empty within a week.
This is a good sign, the bottle is empty before the perfume turn bad. The sense is strong but once again not teenager sweet even thow the perfume is sweet compare to many others.
For example, my Nina Ricci perfumes are very sweet, but I like to wear them in the summer and not during fall/winter. I guess sweet perfme are more summer than winter.
One of my favourite brand in makeup is Estee Lauder.
Most of my make up is from Estee Lauder anything from eyliner, lipstick and much more. What I like with this brand is I do not get any reaction also the make up last for long time. When I started to use make up my mom gave me mascara and eyshadow from Etee Lauder. So, I have been grown up with this brand (brand loyalty). Also, this is the brand which I can find most at home. Normally, I do not buy this brand, however I really love Estee Lauder.
This lipstick works very well for every day when ever I want to have more eye amkeup and less on the lips. Too much eye make up and too much on the lips can create inbalance.
The lipstick is soft but still not too soft so it break.

Eariler i would not manange to stay away from this amazing faty products. I would have been there and take at least one pices from every cheese and try and take one more round. However, I am feeling proud of mysel to skip the cheese and instead of eating more of salmon (which I do not eat that often).
This photo make me crave for cheese…. Mmmmm.
Okay, I most say I love mongos, but who does not?
Anyway, today for lunch was mango. That is something I do not say every day. More or less, never beside when the season for mangos from Pakistan. This mangos from Span were really huge, bigger than the Pakistani.
Pure joy to eat this one.
I am this big sucker for cooking books. My bookshelf contain most of textbooks from 3 years of business studies and than with all the cooking and baking books.
The bookshelf has too many books, but I love them all. Some of my cooking books are from Sweden other are from India and Canada, also Germany. The biggest must for my cooking books are they have to have photos on almost all the reciepes. So, there are photos to compare the dish from the book with my dish. Major reason is to get inspiration from the book and to get the feeling I want to try to do this dish. However, normally I do not have all the ingredients so it always ends up with I skip this ingredient and use this one instead. Most of the time the dish turn out good.
What I have faced with Indian cooking books, they requring a lot of ingredients and not in big quantityeither, all the spices for ecample, 1/2 teaspoon, or 1 teaspoon of this and that. So when I got this book Pure and simple, my joy was was extrem. The recipes are simple, does not ask for 10-15 different ingredients and in the back of the book shows step by step how to make Paneer, gravy and much more. A very good book for a pure beginner. The only thing I have to comment is the book has only veg recipes, if it good or bad. I do not know, but most of the dishes are veg.
In earlier posts have been about my family in India and about my sisters wedding (which I can not attend due to fianl exams). But, she did send some photos from a ritual which they have before the offical preparations for the wedding could start.
My question is why this ritual what is the history behind it, what do they do during the ritual? The only thing I could figure out was the people at the ritual were women from the family. Also, everyone were really beautiful in the sarees. Still what do they do at the ritual? I do know and can even understand from the photos…
Does anyone know? I am so lost!
